Month one in the books. Let's get into it.
What happened on revenue
April was a building month. I spent most of it working on what's next — exploring, planning, sketching out the next couple of products.
A chunk of that time went into VibeCon 2026. Around 20,000 people applied, 300 got in, and we placed number seven (we applied as a team). That's something I'm genuinely proud of. It also meant a few weeks of attention away from AutoClips, which is the honest reason the topline stepped down.
April also has one fewer day than March, but I'm not leaning on that.
The plan from here is what I've been working toward the whole time: shipping a couple of new apps in the coming months, with AutoClips back as the main thing.
Fitness
I took three months off the gym before this. I'm back now, and the body is responding fast — new PRs on chest and back almost every week. Feels like beginner gains again, which is a strange gift.
Body fat is up because Phase 1 of the lean bulk is the plan. Eating to gain. The number going up is the protocol working, not failing.
Content
I haven't posted. That's the truth.
100K followers is still on the list, but it's the lowest priority of the three and right now it shows. Rethinking the platform mix — leaning into Instagram and YouTube over X going forward. More on this next month.
Where we are after Month 1
Revenue stepped down. Fitness moved forward. Content sat still.
It is what it is. One month is one month — it doesn't decide anything. The work I did in April will show up in the months that follow, not in the April number. Call it the calm before the storm.
You can't rush greatness. We're just getting started.
See you in May.
